WEEK 2 INJURY REPORT

๐Ÿšจ Major Injuries Around the NFL

Week 2 of the 2026 NFL season brought several significant injuries involving notable fantasy football players.

๐Ÿˆ Jayden Daniels โ€” Washington Commanders

Injury: Left elbow dislocation

Daniels dislocated his left elbow on the final play of the first half against Dallas. X-rays showed no fracture, and Washington avoided surgery. Daniels began working toward a multi-week recovery.

The HoeBo’s knew the risk when drafting Daniels, his injury history is as long as a flight to Spain. The HoeBo’s took a chance on Daniels becasue when healthy he is electric. Now it’s a wating game to see if Daniels will decide to have surgery to repair his elbow, which has been dislocated three times now.

Status: Out following the injury.

๐Ÿป Caleb Williams โ€” Chicago Bears

Injury: Hamstring

Williams suffered a non-contact hamstring injury during Chicago’s game against Minnesota. The injury did not appear to be a major long-term issue, but he required further evaluation.

Dr.Blakery seen asking Chat GPT “Are hamsting injuries bad?”, luckily it’s not as bad as it seemed. Everyone held their breath as Williams was carted off the field in tears. We haven’t seen an acting job that good since Brett Wilson tried his hand in acting. Reports are actully postive and report he could play as early as next week per Grok the athletic trainer for Dr.Blakery.

Status: Further evaluation required.

๐Ÿฆ… Saquon Barkley โ€” Philadelphia Eagles

Injury: Shoulder and neck

Barkley left the game with a shoulder and neck injury that was initially described as a stinger.

He was able to return to the game but in a limited role. Big Odle Energy told us they’re monitoring the situation and will see where we are at before the weekend.

Status: Evaluation following the injury.

๐Ÿง€ Jayden Reed โ€” Green Bay Packers

Injury: Neck

Reed exited the game on a backboard following a neck injury. He later reported on social media that he was okay.

He will undergo season ending neck surgery. This piles on to the already long list of injuries for The T-Dogg Experiernce, who seems to every week have a new player on IR. They will birng Dontayvion Wicks to fill that hole at Wide Reciever.

Status: Further evaluation.

๐ŸŽ Alec Pierce โ€” Indianapolis Colts

Injury: Heel and ankle

Pierce was carted off the field after suffering a heel and ankle injury. He left the stadium wearing a boot and using crutches.

The HoeBo’s lost a little depth in their WR room this week. Pierce will be placed on IR with an ankle and heel issue. With little play times this year this should’t set the HoeBo’s back too bad but still a loss to say the least.

Status: Further evaluation.

๐Ÿฆ… Dallas Goedert โ€” Philadelphia Eagles

Injury: Knee

Goedert suffered a significant knee injury early in the game and did not return.

Stop me if you’ve heard this before, The T-Dogg Experience has another injured player who might be missing serious time. At some point we’ll have to question this teams training facilities. Many may point to their pre-season team bonding experience for all these injuries, helping their head coach build his house for his commune. Whatever it may be they’ll have to figure something out soon or their season might be done.

Status: Did not return to the game.

โ˜• BIG BEAN COMMITTEE NOTE

The Armchair Kickers League will continue monitoring these players as teams release additional updates throughout the week.
