BURROW’S BASEMENT DWELLERS 155.38 VS THE T-DOGG EXPERIENCE 71.60

This game was never in question from the beginning. One of the largest margin of victories in AKL history of 83.78 points, more than doubling T-Doggs point total. T-Dogg has been dealing with a lot of injuries so far this season, but that is no excuse for the poor performace they displayed this week. On the other hand we see what this Dwellers team can do. When they get rolling no one in this league can stop them. They’re almost as unstoppable as when Blake is charging at you like a red bull.

This is the Dwellers we expect to see going forward, and if that’s the case then we fully expect to see this dynasty continue with another championship. With a matchup against The Mayes this week, we expect them to continue this run.

On the other hand with two more injuries to starters for T-Dogg, it’s hard to look for the positives. Starting 0-2 and having players drop like my standards after two drinks is not the place you want to be. Looking forward in the schedule it’s getting hard to see when this team will get in the win column

WEST NILE VIRUSES 127.32 VS WASTED MAYES 100.98

The Viruses jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. While the Mayes tried to make a push back with better play at the Quaterback position with their new starter Brock Purdy, the Viruses had an answer. Josh Allen once again showed why he is the early season MVP with another 40 point game. Controlling the run game has been what makes this Viruses team look like a championship caliber team. With Derrick Henry running hard and finding the endzone it’s hard to come back on a team that just dominates in the trenches.

For the Mayes on the positive side is they “Maye” (excuse the pun) have found their QB for the rest of the season. He showed some fight and having one of the best backs in the league with Jahmyr Gibbs means you can’t tale this team lightly anymore. With a game against the defending champs the Dwellers they look to get back on track next week.

The Viruses have looked like the most dominate team this year, but we do worry about the reliance on Josh Allen. But if that is your biggest concern then you’re in a good spot. Being 2-0 and taking on the HoeBo’s next week in The AKL’s Game of the Week, we’ll get to see what this team is actully made of.

AUSTIN O. IS A HOEBO 126.94 VS MY BALLS BE ACHANE 172.96

This game was tight early on, and for a second it looked like the HoeBos were going to pull away with it until CeeDee Lamb happened. Finding the endzone twice Lamb showed why he is still one of the best in the league. After that the Achanes put on an offensive clinic. With Dak Prescott throwing the ball around the yard like prime Unlce Rico. The Hoebos put up a good showing behind still the best Running Back room in the league. But wasn’t enough to keep up with this Achane offense.

Big Tex was seen after the game throwing back Miller Lites like he just won the AKL Bowl while running the Craps Table saying “He’s so fired up he wants to fight another bear.” It’s good to see this team off to a hot start since the last few years have been a disapointment. With a game against the winless Rodsuckers we expect this hot streak to continue.

The HoeBos look to bounce back next week against the rolling Viruses in the Game of the Week. This franchise is not use to losing and with the toughest schedule for the next three weeks they need to get some big results or this coach could be out on the street begging for a spare Triple Dipper.

BIG ODLE ENERGY 113.66 JOHNSONVILLE RODSUCKERS 105.72

A fight to see who would get their first win did not disappoint. With the closest margin of victory of only 7.94 points it came down to the wire. The Rodsuckers were leading early and for most of the game thanks to Jaylen Waddle returning to form with 23.8 points and Sam LaPorta trying to make a case for the best Tight End in the leage, right behind Big Tex’s little tight end. But all that would be undone when Travis Kelce turned back the clock scoring 27.10 points late to push Big Odle Energy ahead. And the Rams defense was there to close the door on any comeback for the Rodsuckers.

For the Rodsuckers this is the slow start they were looking to avoid when making coaching changes in the offseason. Bolstering one of the worst offenses in the leauge the fans are very upset. And with a tough matchup against the Achanes next week we have to wonder if we’re seeing the end of Boble’s time as a Rodsucker.

Big Odle Energy getting in the win column is massive. With the next two games being agaisnt playoff teams last year they were looking 0-4 in the face. But a win take some presure off these next few game since after that they go into a weak spot in their schedule. With that being said their is still cause for concern since their offense has looked out for sync and don’t seem to be using their weapons to their full potental.

DR.BLAKERY 147.32 VS MAXIMUS STEELHAMMER 129.48

Are Dr.Blakery for real? This was an absolute masterclass in game planing and execution, everything went to plan for them. It was like watching IRobot with how in sync they were. Their skill postion players can’t be stopped. Jaxon Smith-Njigba is making a case for MVP with a 46.50 perfomace. Their Running Back room scoing 35.80 points to put this game to bed. On the flip side the STEELHAMMERS have nothing to hang their head about. Dr.Blakery is proving to be a great team and the STEELHAMMERS took them all the way to the fourth. Ja’Marr Chase is looking back to himself with a 26.50 point performace, and George Kittle even being described as “Stinky” and “Slimy” showed when healthy is one of the best Tight Ends in the league.

The STEELHAMMERS take on T-Dogg next we in a game we expect them to make short work of T-Dogg in. And if that happens and move to 2-1 is it time to talk about this team as a contender?

Dr.Blakery just keeps rolling. 2-0 for the first time in franchise history, but it’s not just the wins they’ve looked dominate. And with them taking on Big Odle Energy we can see a world where they’re 3-0 with some very good wins under their belt. But will they be able to maintain this level of excellence or will they short-circuit.
