Burrow’s Basement Dwellers 151.60 VS Austin O. is a HoeBo 122.18

This game seemed to be going as we thought early. The Dwellers might have been behind early but their defense was on point. Holding the HoeBo’s starting receivers to 12.90 points then Omarion Hampton found the endzone to close that gap and right when we thought the game might be over, the new front runner for MVP Kenith Walker happened. Two touchdowns in 19 seconds of game play shot the odds up for the HoeBos.

The Dwellers had to sit and wait for the Monday matchup where they needed their star receivers to shine. St. Brown, the leading receiver, did his part to bring his team one step closer to victory. Then Tetairoa McMillan showed why this coaching staff had such high hopes for him, despite logging only 3.70 points last week. He needed 25 points to win this game and he had that by half time. Finishing the game with the most points that have been scored this year and the 22nd all time with a total of 49.20 propelled the Dwellers to 151.60 and the dub.

Both these teams are playoff contenders and past champions so we knew this would be a great matchup. Both teams look to continue the early season success but don’t be surprised if we see this matchup in the playoffs.

West Nile Viruses 96.72 VS Johnsonville Rodsuckers 122.46

Maybe the most anticipated game of the week with the rivalry with the most history was kind of a let down. We expected a light show and it to be a back and forth battle but this game almost felt never in doubt. Josh Allen hasn’t been his MVP self in the past two weeks only scoring 21.52 points this week, but when a team leans on a QB as much as the Viruses do he has to be almost perfect to win a game. The Viruses started out hot but now on a two game losing streak this team looked all out of sorts. Back to back games with under 100 points for the first time in franchise history.

On the flip side are the Rodsuckers for real? Their defense finally showed what they can do. Showing dominance in all aspects of the game from offense, defense to special teams. The Rodsuckers kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn scoring 16 points is a good way to help win games but when you have Bijan Robinson do you really need to worry? Another stellar performance from Robinson scoring 29.70 and that’s even with the Falcons pumping the brakes and giving Brian Robinson goal line touches. Finally in the playoff picture their path looks like they could be primed for a chance to make a run.

With both teams sitting at 2-2 and on the edge of the playoff bubble they both need week 5 wins. With both teams facing maybe the two best teams in the league (The Dwellers and CeeDeez Nutz) we’ll see if these teams need to be taken seriously.

Big Odle Energy 90.38 VS CeeDeez Nutz 180.80

The most lopsided game of the week with a 90 point blowout, many fans of the Odle Energy were leaving the stadium before half time. We expected the Nutz to win but to look this dominant was something else. Now is this just the best team in the league taking care of business or just maybe the worst team tanking for a high draft pick. The game started with a butt whipping and didn’t let up until the final whistle. The Cowboys all put up amazing numbers from Dak Prescott scoring 22.10 to Javonte Williams scoring a stunning 31.30 points. But nothing compared to CeeDee Lamb scoring the second most points this week and also this season with a whopping 45.30 points.

For the Odle Energy there weren’t any real bright spots except for Giants Receiver Malik Nabers scoring 25.20 points. Maybe the path to winning for the Odle Energy is to feed this young man mixed with an elite defense because I don’t think this team has the ability to win a shootout.

Teams with two differences have two different feelings going into week 5. It almost feels like a must win for Odle Energy playing a injury riddled T-Dogg squad but this could be a battle for the number 1 pick. And for the Nutz if they can get a win this week they could take a commanding charge to get that very important bye in the playoffs.

Dr.Blakery 94.88 VS The T-Dogg Experience 132.08

Down goes the last undefeated team in the league. The biggest spread of the week, many people had already put a W next to Dr.Blakery but that’s why we play the games. No one showed up for Dr.Blakery except Brock Bowers who tried to help spark a comeback late scoring the highest Tight End points this week with 20.60. They could have really used a legit MVP candidate Jaxson Smith-Njigba but only scoring 12.60 points won’t help your team win.

But this game never felt close, T-Dogg jumped out to an early lead with DK Metcalf scoring a season high 18.50 points. Then T-Dogg never looked back behind the games of Lamar Jackson’s 22.88 points and a newly returning Puka Nacua scoring 29.70. Maybe Puca was the missing spark this team needs to bring them back to what we expect this team to be. However, injuries have been the biggest problem with T-Dogg and that continues as Lamar left at half time with an ankle injury, and is not expected to play this week.

Both teams hold their own destiny in their hands. T-Dogg plays the team right below them and like we feel with Odle Energy this feels like a must win to keep them in the hunt for the playoffs. Dr.Blakery plays a desperate Mayes team, will this loss be a bump in a successful season or will this revert them back to the team we know?

MAXIMUS STEELHAMMER 175.42 VS Wasted Maye 143.92

Maybe the biggest surprise is STEELHAMMERS sitting atop the standings looking down on the rest of the league. If somehow you haven’t heard about the STEELHAMMERS dominance this season which feels impossible since their coaching staff reminds everyone every sunday, then get used to it. I think this team has a real shot to win the championship this year which is something we haven’t seen yet.

The Mayes took the lead early on Thursday with Jaylen Warren showing his consistency scoring 15.60 points. Then the STEELHAMMERS flexed their muscles behind the rushing attack with Kyren Williams and Chuba Hubbard scoring a combined 64.60 points. Things looked a little shaky when Ja’marr Chase went down early with a concussion. But that’s why you handcuff your picks and get an elite back up, because Tee Higgins stepped up scoring 30.70 points. Burrow is still showing that he is an elite QB in the league, and even Cam Little wants a slice of the point pie scoring 14 points. Nico Collins for the Mayes was like 2018 Lebron James with trying to carry this team across the finish line. Scoring 32.80 points he gave all he could for the Mayes but his team let him down, but don’t put too much pressure on his back since he can be injury prone. Don’t be shocked if you see an injury report for Back: Cause of Injure, Carry Job.

STEELHAMMERS want to get a win this week since they are still eyeing that number one spot in the league, but with them playing a hungry HoeBos might be a tough game. The Mayes look to bounce back against a great team in Dr.Blakery but a win here might have us buying Mayes stocks not his meatballs.
