BURROWS BASEMENT DWELLERS 88.44 VS WASTED MAYES 199.08
The biggest blowout in AKL history, 110.64 points. This game was never close shocking the fantasy football world. Drake London got the Mayes off to a hot start by putting up a season high 32.40 points. Then they kept adding on top with Jahmyr Gibbs showing off why he might be the best back in the league with 41.40 points. And the Quaterback change seems to be paying off with back to back weeks with Purdy looking like a star. The only players who showed up for the Dwellers is the best QB in the league Mahomes and the best Tight End Trey McBride.
The only bright side with this loss is no major injuries. They can chalk this up to an off week. We know what this team can be and expect them to bounce back in a huge way this week. If there is one thing you can bet on is this teams reaction after a loss like this, Brett Wilson the best coach will get them back on track. They play The HoeBos this week and even though it’s a touch matchup we expect a better showing.
The Mayes get their first win of the season, so the Maye fans can take a breath. Their matchup this week against the STEELHAMMERS seems like a favorable matchup and trying to get back to .500 and back on track to get where they ultimatly want to be: The Championship Game.
WEST NILE VIRUSES 85.86 VS AUSTIN O. IS A HOEBO 119.42
The Game of the Week started off as a great game, but like Elijah Odles golf game it fell off. Through half time this game was hanging in the balance then Davante Adams looked like he was back in Green Bay scoring 22.70 points. And Kenneth Walker is slowly making an MVP case with another 20+ point performace. The HoeBos did an amazing job putting presure on Josh Allen all night The Viruses Quaterback Josh Allen while still putting up 19.46 points played poorly. This might hurt his MVP case but his tush keeps getting pushed as he added 2 more rushing touchdowns. The only bright spot for the Viruses is Henry still shows no sighs of slowing up.
The HoeBos take on the Dwellers looking for a bounce back in The Game of the Week. The highest projected scoring total this week, we expect a firework show. Can this run game for the HoeBos outlast the passing attack of the Dwellers.
The Viruses drop to 2-1 but their future is still looking promising. We expect Josh Allen to return to form but it shows that this team will go as far as he takes them. They take on the Rodsuckers in one of the biggest rivalries in the AKL. The Viruses have stated that it can be a rivalry if we always win. The trash talking has started already and we as AKL fans can’t wait.
BIG ODLE ENERGY 108.92 VS DR.BLAKERY 135.34
Once again Dr.Blakery got out to a fast start taking a huge lead early. Which ultimately too much for Big Odle Enegy to come back from. A valiant effort from Odle Energy’s Christain McCaffrey scoring 21.60 and Kelce once again showing age is but a number scoring 13.90 points. But when you see the best Reciever in the League JSN lining up on the other side you know you’re in for a long night. JSN scoring 37.36 point seems like it’s impressive but for him its become normal. Trevor Lawrence also stepped up for the injured Calab Williams, scoring 26.78 points. Showing how much Blake Wilson has grown as a coach over the seasons.
Once again we’re waiting for Dr.Blakery to slip up and he continues to thrive. The only remaining undefeated team in the league left takes on the injury riddled T-Dogg Experience. We expect this to be a one sided affair but that is what makes the AKL exciting, any given Sunday.
Big Odle Energy look to bounce back against the new look CeeDeez Nutz who are both looking to get back in the win column. Austin Odle is trying to make a statement as the best Austin coach in the league. This is more than a fight for a win it’s for pride.

MAXIMUS STEELHAMMER 172.98 VS THE T-DOGG EXPERIENCE 109.34
This game went exactly as we expected. We know Tracy is an amazing coach but you can only do so much when your whole team is made of glass. Lamar Jackson did all he could for T-Dogg scoring 24.44 points while Jakobi Meyers had the best game of his season scoring 19.40 points. But the big three for the STEELHAMMERS Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins all showed out. The chemistry is through the roof, but Maddie/Morgan are not satisfied. Rumors have started that the the coaching staff has “Trash Talking Notes” ready to fire off at anyone who crosses them. This coaching staff is not one to play with, even I’m shaking writing this knowing not to cross them.
The STEELHAMMERS take on Wasted Mayes. This game could prove to be a big one for the STEELHAMMERS, a win puts them at 3-1 in the sriving seat. But a loss moves them to 2-2 with a tough schedule coming up. We could look back at this game as the turning point in their season.
T-Dogg takes on Dr.Blakery this week. The battle of undefeated vs a winless team. The biggest spread of the week and for good reason. Do T-Dogg try and go out and get a win for pride or are they already thinking of next year.
CEEDEEZ NUTZ 117.04 VS JOHNSONVILLE RODSUCKERS 130.54
The most interesting game of the week saw two lead changes late in the game. The Rodsuckers got out to an early lead thanks to Bijan Robinson getting 39.30 points. Then CeeDeez Nutz stormed back with one of the best Quaterback, Wide Reciever combos in the league; CeeDee Lamb and Dak Prescott. Scoring a combined 43.14 points to storm back in the lead. But that was shorted lived because Denvers defense returned a pick back to the house slamming the door shut right on CeeDeez Nutz.
The Rodsuckers play their rivals The West Nile Viruses. The Rodsuckers look to string together back to back wins and turn this season around. They are also wearing their throwback “J-Rod Sux” jerseys. This might be the game to keep your eye on this week. We might not have seen a fight this big since a hot tub in Scottsdale, Arizona.
CeeDeez Nutz take on Big Odle Energy. In the battle for Austin, Big Tex was quoted as saying “He might be Big Odle but I’m Big Tex. And I want to show him who’s Big Daddy.” All we know is this game will have a lot of tension from start to finish.
